Professor Eileen Barker, FBA, OBE
Professor Eileen Barker, FBA, OBE is Professor of Sociology with Special Reference
to the Study of Religion at the London School of Economics. She has specialised
in researching new religious movements or 'cults' around the world and has
studied the fate of religion in the former socialist countries.
